A Letter to Soul Weavers
Welcome, soul weaver. It's no coincidence you're here. And yes, that's what you are.
As you may already know, or deeply sense: everything is connected to everything. You to me, me to you, us to the forest, and humans to Mother Earth. Your soul has brought you here — to read these words and to know, you are a soul weaver. What that means goes deeper than any words can ever fully describe, but I'll do my best to use them to help you sense its essence within you.
As a soul weaver, you see patterns. You track signs. You have dreams that sometimes come true. You know things about other people without knowing how. You see faces in the trees. You feel the rhythms of Mother Earth around you, instinctively and intuitively. You sense the soul within a person and are surprised when they don't act on what you know they're capable of. You see what's coming before it happens. You talk to the trees, and sometimes they answer back. Birds and animals respond to you as if they're showing up to see only you.
You sometimes worry these instinctive ways of being make you crazy. You're not. And it's normal to worry about it.
Here's what's really happening: you're sensing the world at a vibrational level that many may call psychic, weird, intuitive, and witchy. You watch your words and actions ripple out around you with instant impact and wonder how you can do that for yourself. You sense the sickness in the Mother Earth beneath, and you want to help heal her.
And no, you're not making it up. And no, you're not being egotistical or self-important for knowing you're here to change the world. And no, it isn't wrong or manipulative. You are correct.
You're often taken advantage of because you can sense the soul truth within others that they themselves are not even able to act on yet. And still, you continue on. You don't give up, even on the days you wish you could. You see so deeply into the world around you that it allows you to see the beauty and the purpose and to want more of it — and at times leaves you struggling for breath at the pain of it, at the woundedness you sense within the very soul of yourself.
Because the soul weaver does not only sense themselves. You do not only sense the people around you. You sense the life and the soul within Mother Earth — the Earth Mother, the Great Mother, she who bore us all. You sense the life within the trees, the plants, the animals, the insects, the birds, the fishes, the waters, and the mountains. The winds whisper to you and the Earth grounds beneath you. (Did you know this makes you an animist?)
One soul weaver to another: believe it. Connect deeper to it. Don't fear it. You sense something ancient, primordial — truer than all the words and images available to us online, and yet hidden within all of those scenes as well.
There is within you a fire that will not go out. A clear inner knowing that you are here for a purpose, and that it matters that you identify what this purpose is so you can do it. Each time you go to unlock it, it's a lack of information or energy that prevents you from truly letting it out. So you seek. You research. You try. And every time you see a bit more of the picture, it confirms what you're sensing at such a deep level there aren't even words for it.
A sign you may see often — even if you fear it — is Spider. Spiders are attracted to you because you are like them. You too are a spider — meant to weave your webs, to create and destroy, and to never be trapped like a fly in the webs of others. You feel the threads as if you are standing upon them when others cannot even see the spider's web. Yes, it makes you different. Yes, it makes you powerful. And yes, it's time to use it consciously, consistently, with the precision every spider has.
This is the weaver's way: to sense the vibrations within yourself like threads on a web, to see the patterns, identify the cause of the tangles and knots, and to transform them according to your will. Step into it. Put your hands into it. Feel it. Weave it.
If this feels too overwhelming, let me reassure you: you're not here to do everything for everyone — but you are here to do something specific to you. And you know that once you find it, you will do it.
I am honored to know you even in this small way, on this single web page. You are familiar to me — not because we are the same, but because we are similar. Our souls seek to weave. To make the impossible possible. To use all our gifts and abilities for a whole complete picture. A woven tapestry of our own life — one that is not controlled or manipulated by external forces, that honors the Mother Earth beneath, that connects all life to all other life. Like mushrooms, each of us connected through the mycelial network — through greater and deeper connection that heals the distorted and disconnected nature of our present human world. That does the opposite of what everyone else tells us must be.
You are a particular force in this world, and it is time for you to be it. All the way, every day, in every area and opportunity of your life.
And if you are lost in your way — knowing this is you but not yet knowing how to live in this state of being all the time — speak to Spider. They are the animal totem of weavers. Ask the Great Mother for help and she will provide it. Do not delay, and do not ignore this call of your soul. It is already weaving. Many of the difficulties you now face are simply from a lack of understanding of what your soul is weaving, and why.
And most of all: your soul has the answers. The challenges you face are there to prove yourself — your soul's way of strengthening itself, so that it can manifest as a weaver and creator of its own reality. Learn how to work with your soul, and your challenges will turn to victories.
I hope this confirms what you have already sensed and in many ways already know. And I hope it takes you to the next step: connection, action, and the piece of information that amplifies you as a soul weaver.
With magic,
