How do you know if your intuition is real?
You verify it the same way you’d verify anything vibrational: through your body. Real intuition isn’t only a thought in your head — it shows up as something you can hear, smell, taste, or physically feel (chills, heat, a knot in your stomach, a wave of calm). If it only ever lives as an idea with no physical signal attached, it isn’t verified yet. That doesn’t mean it’s wrong. It means you haven’t checked.
Why you end up down a research rabbit hole in the first place
Because something in you has started sensing more than it used to, and nobody handed you a manual for it. Maybe you’re hearing a little more. Feeling sensations in your body that don’t have an obvious cause. Noticing thoughts, dreams, or knowings that feel oddly specific — not vague, specific. Numbers repeating. The same stranger saying the same sentence twice in one week.
People call this a spiritual awakening. Here’s what that actually means: everyone has a soul, but the soul isn’t always fully in the driver’s seat. You’re not steering your own ship yet — not because something’s wrong with you, but because most of us were never taught how to hand the wheel back to ourselves.
Then one day, something shifts. A thought, a worry, an urgency you can’t quite put words to — that’s the soul, waking up loud enough to notice. And once it’s awake, it wants your attention. Which is exactly when the questions — and the rabbit holes — start.
Everything is vibration — including you
Here’s the part almost nobody explains clearly: everything that exists has a vibration. Your intuition, your fear, a “sign,” a stranger’s energy in a room — all of it is vibration. Vibration can be smelled, tasted, heard, felt in the body, or known. We only ever sense a small slice of what’s actually out there — the same way visible light is only a sliver of the full spectrum.
Think of yourself as your own unique vibration — your own song, with your own notes, harmony, and rhythm. Everything you meet is another note. Some harmonize with your song. Some are the wrong note at the wrong time, and you feel it — like nails on a chalkboard. Neither is good or bad. They’re just information about what fits you and what doesn’t.
That felt sense — does this harmonize with me, or not — is intuition. The question is never really “am I psychic.” The question is: how do I verify what I’m sensing is real, instead of a story I’ve talked myself into?
The four ways to verify it (so you know it’s not made up)
This is the part that actually matters, because “just trust yourself” isn’t an answer — it’s a dodge. There are only four ways a vibration can be verified through your body:
- You hear it.
- You smell it.
- You taste it.
- You feel it — chills, a temperature change, a physical reaction that wasn’t there a second ago.
Clairvoyance — just seeing an image in your mind — is the one everyone wants first, and it’s the least reliable place to start. You can picture an elephant right now because you thought of it. That doesn’t mean anything on its own. The body doesn’t lie the way the imagination can. So when you’re trying to tell real intuition apart from a story you’ve made up, check the other four first. Did your body actually react? That’s your evidence.
You’re not the only one asking this
A client in her 50s came to a session telling me, almost apologizing for it: “I swear to God, I’m not menopausal crazy.” She’d been having visions for two years — moments of knowing, sensations she couldn’t explain — and had nowhere to check if any of it was real.
It’s all real. That’s not a nice thing to say to make her feel better. It’s what the body-based check actually confirmed, session by session. Two weeks later she was on a camp trip, making an offering by a fire, asking for a clear sky after three days of grey cloud — and within fifteen minutes the clouds opened. Her nephew, who knew nothing about any of this, turned to her and said, “didn’t you say you wanted to see the moon and stars?”
That’s the difference between wondering if you’re making it up and having a way to check.
What happens when you trust it
Years ago, I worked with a man whose liver had failed. He was the color of a highlighter — not an exaggeration — and on the transplant list with six months to live. Neither of us knew if energy work would do anything. He had nothing to lose, so we started.
About four to five months later, his liver had regenerated.
I still don’t fully understand every mechanism behind that. What I do know is that it’s one of the moments that taught me: this is real, it’s repeatable, and it’s learnable — not just something a rare few people can do.
The real problem isn’t your intuition — it’s translating it alone
Once you start sensing more, it can feel like diving into the ocean with no idea which direction is shore. Interesting things drift by. Some of it’s wonderful. Some of it’s unsettling. And there’s no clear way to know if you’re swimming somewhere or just floating, tired, hoping you don’t go under.
The goal isn’t to stop sensing so much of the world — the world is more beautiful and more alive than most of us let ourselves feel. The goal is to stop swimming in an open ocean and instead turn on a faucet: a clear, contained stream you can actually direct. Same water. Same soul. Just no longer aimless.
Two ways to make sense of what you’re sensing
There isn’t one right way to do this next part either. There’s the way that fits you right now.
If you want to learn to verify it yourself: The Truth Yes/No Training teaches the actual method, the Sway Test and four yes/no scripts, for getting a clear, reliable answer from your own body instead of guessing. Awaken Academy builds that into an ongoing practice, alongside the rest of the four-ways-to-verify work, in community, at your own pace.
If you want direct answers now: a Soul Contact session is a single session where I connect with your soul directly, verify what it’s already trying to tell you, and hand you the specific next step — not one more framework to sort through, an actual direction to act on.
One client described what changed after her session simply: “You gave me more than I expected, but more importantly, direction — and with that, I’m learning to listen with all my senses and trust them.”
You’re not making it up
You’re not crazy, and you’re not imagining all of it. You’re sensing more of the world than you were taught how to process — and that’s not a flaw, it’s the beginning. The rabbit hole that brought you here wasn’t random either.
